Didde Neuchs Christensen wins the Ropox Prize 2025

On November 5, Didde Neuchs Christensen was praised in front of all her occupational therapy colleagues at DFS Hand Therapy. She won the Ropox Prize 2025 for her remarkable efforts to strengthen and develop the occupational therapy profession and the entire area of assistive devices.

You've probably heard it before. In the future, we will have more elderly people, and at the same time there will be fewer caregivers. How do we solve this growing societal problem?

This is something that Didde Neuchs Christensen deals with in her everyday life. In her work, she works to ensure that more elderly people receive assistive devices and are thus better able to manage themselves for a longer period of time without a helper. An effort for which she has now been honored with the Ropox Prize 2025 and the accompanying grant of 25,000 kroner.

Since 1989, the Næstved-based company Ropox has annually honored an occupational therapist who has made an outstanding contribution to their profession with the Ropox Award. An award that reflects the company's clear mission to make a difference for people with disabilities through innovative kitchen solutions, advanced tables, a variety of bathroom products and much more.

"Every day, Didde Neuchs Christensen makes a difference for older people, while at the same time inspiring her colleagues who have nominated her for the award with her occupational therapy passion. There is no doubt that she personifies everything that the Ropox Award stands for," says Camilla Svendsen, Marketing Manager at Ropox.

Didde Neuchs Christensen is the center manager at the Assistive Technology Center in the Municipality of Copenhagen and builds bridges between technology, staff and citizens, and she is naturally very happy about the recognition from her colleagues.

Any occupational therapist or group of occupational therapists can nominate a colleague for the Ropox Award. All entries will be sent directly to the Danish Occupational Therapists Association, which will review the entries and select the winner.
