Increased safety for people living at home in 48 municipalities

Hepro is strengthening its position in the Nordic market with its largest contract ever in Sweden. Through its sister company Zafe Care Systems AB, Hepro has won a prestigious agreement with Västra Götalandsregionen for the delivery of digital supervision solutions. The contract has significant value and a duration of up to four years.
Increased safety for people living at home in 48 municipalities
The agreement covers thousands of Nattugla units, an advanced solution for digital supervision that combines camera and sensor technology. With this solution, care staff can conduct scheduled digital supervision and at the same time be alerted in case of unusual events, such as a fall or if a service recipient stays out of bed during the night.
Alerts from Nattugla and supervision are handled via Hepro Respons, which is a comprehensive welfare technology solution and serves as a common platform for all welfare technologies. Hepro Respons is currently used by over 100 municipalities in Norway. The solution can be used by institutions, nursing homes, or people living at home. In this contract, it is for people living at home.
Through the agreement, residents in 48 municipalities, including Gothenburg, Skövde, and Trollhättan, are ensured a safer everyday life with innovative welfare technology solutions that contribute to increased security and better resource utilisation in the care sector.
Quality and price decided the award
After a thorough evaluation of the procurement process, Hepro’s digital supervision was considered the best solution in terms of both quality and cost-effectiveness. This further strengthens the company’s position as a leading player in welfare technology in the Nordics.
– “This agreement represents a significant milestone for Hepro. It is our largest contract in Sweden, providing us with a solid foundation for further international growth. The demand for digital care solutions is increasing, and we are proud to deliver technology that both enhances user safety and makes care work more efficiently,” says Geir Tore Jakobsen, CEO of Hepro AS.
An important step in Hepro’s export initiative
As part of Hepro’s growing focus on the export market, this contract represents a significant strategic victory. At the same time, it strengthens Zafe Care Systems AB’s position in Sweden as a trusted provider of future-oriented welfare technology.
– “This partnership clearly shows what we can achieve when we combine Nordic innovative power with a common goal: to create safer and more effective care solutions. Through the collaboration with Hepro, we unite the best of two worlds and meet needs where they are – with technology that truly makes a difference,” says Per la Fleur, Managing Director/CEO of Zafe Care Systems AB.
