The power of simplicity and purpose
Fischer Medical 27/11/2025
Being a lean team, we focus on things that create value to us, the patients, and the healthcare professionals.
When I joined Fisher Medical, I wanted to understand AddLife's culture from the ground up. The Vision and Corporate Philosophy training became my entry point, not just to learn about AddLife's values, but to get to know others who had recently joined the companies across the AddLife group in Europe. That network has proven invaluable.
Today, I'm in the Executive Leadership program. What strikes me is how practical it is. We learn new frameworks, work through real scenarios, and then apply them directly to our daily work. One concrete example: we've implemented a specific process to ensure that quieter voices are heard in meetings. It sounds simple, but it's transformative for how we operate as a team.
The core value simplicity resonates truly with how Fisher Medical has always worked. We operate as a lean team, focused on doing only what creates real value, for us, for our patients, and for the healthcare professionals we serve. There's no unnecessary complexity. When I learned this was one of AddLife's core values, it confirmed that we share the same values and approach to our work.
As an MD, I see it as my responsibility to encourage our team members to engage with the Academy. For new hires, the onboarding and Vision and Corporate Philosophy training provide an essential foundation. For established employees, the Academy works best when it's part of the ongoing development conversations.
I plan to complete the remaining modules of the Executive Leadership program and continue building through the Academy's offerings. The future is bright for Fisher Medical, and I'm proud to be part of the AddLife family.
