MBA SURGICAL EMPOWERMENT partners with CMR Surgical

CMR Surgical and MBA SURGICAL EMPOWERMENT have teamed up to bring the Versius Surgical Robot to more hospitals in Spain and Portugal. MBA, a leading distributor of medical technology, will now be the exclusive provider of Versius in these countries.

Versius is the second most used soft tissue surgical robot in the world. It helps doctors perform complex surgeries in areas like urology, general surgery, gynaecology, and thoracic surgery. Thanks to its small, modular design, it can easily be moved between hospital departments, making it more practical and cost-effective for hospitals. Versius is already being used in several hospitals in Spain and Portugal, including Hospital Universitario Ramon y Cajal, Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, and Hospital Lusíadas Porto. So far, it has been used in more than 29,000 surgeries worldwide.
